1. Upleveled Aeroweave™ Fabric
This is where everything starts. This fabric is called Aeroweave, and it’s our own version of a classic 60's textile that’s been used on sports stuff forever. Being us, we took it to a new level. We mill Y.Chroma’s exclusive Aeroweave™ in Milan. It’s light. It drapes beautifully. It moves like a couture fabric. And it has just the right amount of edge.
2. The Construction
You already know the deal: turn it inside out. Everything matters, every detail has a purpose. Making an ultra-breathable fabric really sing is like building a light aircraft. It’s the inner structure that matters. The key areas are lined with Cognac Silk™, the back panel is double-bonded, just like the button strip, so the shirt doesn’t sag. Interior stitching is a master class in technique — and it shows.
3. The Collar
I think this collar took more planning than the shuttle program. A floppy collar quickly makes you look sloppy. But too stiff and the shirt ends up looking like a golf shirt with a logo on the chest. That’s also a no-go. We built a collar with just the right amount of strength. Strong enough to frame your neck, soft enough to look natural. You get that sharp neck-to-shoulder triangle, that makes you look strong up top. This collar took time, engineering, and a whole lot of puzzle-piece cutting. But when you see it on your body, you see the difference immediately. Just this collar has probably 2x the sewing operation of any other whole polo shirt you’ve ever worn.
