OUTFIT OF THE DAY #117
How do our clothes look on a “non-model”?
Looks from my daily life here at Y.Chroma HQ in Lisbon in hopes they inspire you.
How I’m wearing the White Lotus Madeira Polo Aeroweave Edition
Heat waves make almost everyone lower the bar and default to dressing in survival mode. The name of the game just ends up being about keeping cool and not wearing clothes that crump if you perspire for a few minutes crossing a parking lot or when you start the car under the sun.
Today I flip that on its head with a very stylish look that gives comfort and total fashion edge even with the temp over 100 degrees.
I love the new White Lotus version of the Madeira Polo Aeroweave Edition. Our special Aeroweave fabric has been a hit with you guys since it first launched. We made the White Lotus version lightly translucent — even more breathable and visually airy. It has some edge, lads. Own it! It isn’t “see-through”, but rather just enough to see a hint of skin tone or even a tattoo through the white matrix of the fabric. You’ll see what I mean when you put it on. It’s light, it breathes, and it handles the kind of heat that can really bake.
I paired it here with a Military Olive Becker Short on the bottom. This is the “summer military fatigue” look and I’ve been wearing it everywhere. It works with the shirt out or tucked in. I prefer a more solid-feeling fabric on the bottom when I have something very breathable up top — my preference. The Becker Short is a gorgeous piece of tailoring with a rugged fabric, but it’s absolutely built for use in the heat.
For fun, I added a Furoshiki around the neck. They were a real hit when we had them - they’ll be back in stock soon, keep an eye out.
