Henley Week, Day 2: the bold one

Lads,

Day 2. Aperol Orange Buffed Cotton Long Sleeve Henley. White Lotus Becker Pant. Midnight Blue Deckmaster. Brown boots I've had for 20 years. Sunglasses. That’s it.

The Aperol Orange Henley is bright, warm, and exactly what you want when the days get shorter and everything else in the wardrobe turns dark. This is how you keep color in your life through fall and winter: one strong piece at the base, and everything layered around it.

Then the Midnight Blue Deckmaster on top. French bouclé in deep blue over Aperol Orange is one of those combinations that stops people. The blue frames the orange showing through at the neck, and the whole look reads as completely deliberate. Ribbon-anchored buttons, magnetic and button chest pockets, camera metal hardware. It’s a jacket built to a standard most men have never experienced.

The White Lotus Becker Pant works as the base between the orange and the blue gives both colors room to breathe. The brown boots add warmth at the bottom.

If you want to do a more conservative version of this look, you can keep the same Deckmaster, the same Becker and same boots. Instead of the Aperol Orange, swap in the Midnight Blue Henley.

Midnight Blue from the jacket all the way down to the Henley, with white underneath. The mood flips completely to serious, deep and sharp. Same jacket, same pant, different Henley, different world. That’s day two. Tomorrow, Day 3.

All the best,
